The atmosphere is that of Milan as always, the environment is trendy and cosmopolitan.
The hotel was built in 1931 following a bet it was argued that it was impossible to erect a building in that limited space. Father and son, both aircraft landing gear engineers, took up the challenge. Thus was built the Hotel Plinius, later called Demidoff Hotel, characterized by the peculiar "iron" shape, with the liberty character of that period.
The atmosphere is that of Milan as always, ideal for those visiting the city for business or to discover the city as a traveler.
